One artist that I've always been drawn to is Ether Rag. Also known as litebritedeath in some of his earlier work.
He's a prime example of how to flow your feelingss and thoughts into a piece of art that can be enjoyed by many.
He got his start when he was dealing with personal issues and found his way through it by using paint markers and boards to express himself.
He's done many pieces that are painted at art festivals to be auctioned/sold for charity in and around his home town in Kansas, USA.
Constantly using new programs and means to make his art - it is constantly evolving and you'll never find him sticking to the same theme/style for each painting.
His characters expressions are ones that you can relate to - as the feelings behind them are so sincere, raw and real that you can't help but think you've felt the same way before.
I've thoroughly enjoyed almost each piece of art that has come from his mind and soul.
It's what I like to call "true art". Although each opinion of what that is is completely different.
